Language Track Properties Dialog

Lets you edit properties of a language track.
 

 
Display Name
Full name of the language to be displayed in the player SWF.
 
Type
Type of the track, intended to be utilized in actionscript. Predefined types are displayed in the drop down list. You can modify this list by editing the file 'TrackTypes.txt' found in the same folder as Captionate.exe.
 
Language Code
The code for the language, to identify the language in actionscript. A default list of language codes are available. You can modify this list by editing the file 'LanguageCodes.txt' found in the same folder as Captionate.exe.
 
Target wpm rate
Target words per minute rate is used in the wpm calculations for the track. Rate for each caption is displayed in the Caption List. While the target wpm rate for the track is saved in the FLV, calculated rates for each caption are not.
 
String data
This data field is currently user defined. For example it may contain additional track information in XML format. The exact format of this data will depend on the actionscript in the player SWF.
 

 
Copy caption text from
This option is available when creating a new language track and there is at least one other language track. If the option is checked, captions from the selected language track will be copied to the new language track, which you can translate later. If the option is not checked, all captions in the new language track will be empty.
